Karl Rove A Free Man

Bush's Brain, Karl Rove, will apparently not be indicted as part of the case involving the "outing" of CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson.

Personally, I did not really believe that Rove would be indicted. It would have been nice though.

Karl Rove is basically a two bit con artist who happened to hit the big time when he latched on to George W Bu$h. He sure as hell is not a genius. The next election that Karl Rove wins without lying and cheating will be his first.

Zarqawi

Whatever he was, this man Zarqawi has to be one of the most amazing men in the history of this planet.

There were at least ten previous reports of him being either killed or seriously wounded(including having his leg amputated). Despite all of those, like a mighty river, he somehow rolled on.

"Astonishing" would best describe his final act. A thousand pounds of explosives were dropped on him, yet I did not notice any burns on his body at all.

Of course, in no way am I suggesting that the US Government is somehow lying about this particular incident. Heavens no!!

Bye Bye Tom Delay

It is now former Congressman Tom Delay. Terrible Tom officially departed Congress today. Gee, I feel just awful.

Ever the one-trick pony, Delay launched a bitter attack on liberals in his farewell speech. I listened to some of it and it was a real yawner. Come to think of it, it kinda sums up Delay's tenure in Washington.
