Independence Day Thoughts

Fireworks are going off in the distance...

I have somewhat mixed emotions as this July 4th draws to a close.

I am still glad and proud that I am an American but I am disappointed at what our nation has become.

At our core, Americans are still a decent people. It may take us a while, but, eventually, we will get it right.

The American people will finally rise up and run George W Bu$h and his criminal regime out of power. I firmly believe that.
