Durbin Backs Down

Illinois Senator Dick Durbin today apologized for his comments last week comparing the actions of US soldiers to that of Hitler and Pol Pot.

Senator, you should not have backed down. If people were offended by what you said, then that is just too damned bad.

If American soldiers are upset about being compared to Nazis, then perhaps they should stop behaving like Nazis. Do not obey any orders to invade foreign countries without provocation. Don't participate in any more "coerced interrogations". The Nurrenburg Trials give you the option of disobeying any illegal order. Don't allow Bu$h and his gang of scum disgrace you any further.
